Controletti UV Light Cleaning Control for Surfaces
0% Tolerance 100% Hygiene
Make cleaning quality visible with UV light, improve hygiene and achieve hygiene standards.
With the Controletti UV Cleaning Test for hygiene control, you can check the cleaning performance of easily cleanable and washable surfaces such as sinks, toilets, worktops, tiles and many more.
The easy-to-use Controletti UV cleaning control test uses a suitable UV lamp and a fluorescent liquid, applied by spraying or with a UV marker pen.
Simulate contamination that is only visible under UV light on washable surfaces, such as dirt or a biofilm, which is a layer of microorganisms such as bacteria or fungi that adhere to and grow on surfaces.
Identify weaknesses in your cleaning process
With the Controletti cleaning test, you can conduct your own quality control, ensuring or improving your hygiene standards.
Make the invisible visible
Suitable UV light, such as black light, makes the invisible visible. Now you can easily check the cleaning performance, whether by hand or machine.
0% Tolerance, 100% Hygiene
Quality control in cleaning is essential in critical areas such as healthcare, food production, and industry.
Dirt, germs, viruses, or mold – there are many good reasons to protect products and materials, as well as yourself and others.
Experience hygiene training differently
Hygiene training sessions are often boring and tedious after the second or third time. Use the Controletti UV cleaning inspection system to demonstrate potential problems to your cleaning staff, either practically on-site or through documentation, so they can identify these issues in practice.
4 Steps to Controletti UV Cleaning Verification
Using the washable, colorless but fluorescent Controletti fluid and the Controletti UV lamp, you can easily verify cleaning results in just 4 steps.

Step 1: Spray on Controletti – Mark the area
Lightly spray the selected areas, surfaces, or objects with CONTROLETTI to mark them. The liquid, which contains a contrast agent, behaves like water. You can clearly see what areas you have sprayed and marked. Only a small amount is needed to mark the area to be cleaned. To prevent the spread of germs in sensitive hygiene areas, disinfect the surface beforehand (this is not necessary with the spray).
Note: Test on an inconspicuous area before use. The surface must be wipeable; do not use on absorbent or porous surfaces (examples: no carpet, no wood, no plastered walls or wallpaper, no medical devices such as endoscopes or ultrasound probes).
Not suitable for alcohol-sensitive surfaces such as acrylic glass.
Step 2: Allow the test strip to dry briefly
The test strip should be allowed to dry briefly to achieve the best results. Excessively long test durations of more than 24 hours should be avoided. When testing multiple samples, it is recommended to record the date and time, as well as the location and position of the test mark.

Step 3: Perform the cleaning
The cleaning process can now begin. Make sure to clean all areas thoroughly to achieve maximum hygiene.
Step 4: Inspection with UV light
Now, inspect the area using the provided UV lamp. Under the violet-blue light, the cleaning fluid will become visible, appearing as a bright blue glow. If the area has been thoroughly cleaned, no glowing residue will be visible. If the cleaning was not thorough, bright blue residue and traces will be clearly visible. If any residue remains, please repeat the cleaning process thoroughly on the affected area.

For cleaning results that need to be checked only once or regularly for quality assurance purposes.
